Greenock Artisans Markets - October to March
Enjoy a night out after work at the Artisans of Greenock at the Greenock Town Square (opposite the Greenock Creek Tavern). The market showcases local artisans' work including jewellery, wool spinning, paintings, handmade cosmetics, soaps, plants, candles, and much more. The markets feature live music, and a variety of food, wine and drinks are available.
Held on the second Friday of each month 5.30pm until 8.30pm.
Barossa Farmers Market - Open every Saturday

The Barossa Farmers Market is permanently located in Vintners Sheds: this means you can gather your weekly supplies of fruit, vegies and much more in comfort come rain, hail or shine. Experience produce at its best often picked fresh the night before, some producers even pick that morning! Yes they get up very early to ensure only the freshest and best produce is available. Many of our producers grow organically. Next time you are at the market talk with the producers to find out more about how and what they grow.
The best breakfast…
What's better than bacon and eggs on Saturday morning? Having someone else cook it for you! We mean real eggs, and real bacon, served on a toasty fresh roll, with amazing sauces and chutneys to top it off. How about some yummy toasted fruit bread? Or perhaps freshly squeezed orange juice? Grab a latté, pull up a bench, and forget about the dishes!

Barossa Balloon Rides

Balloon Adventures is a family owned and operated business since 1986. They have flown thousands of very happy people of all ages over the years. They are an accredited hot air ballooning company approved through the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. They have a highly experienced team with your safety and enjoyment as our primary concern.
Pick up can be arranged at Greenock from our Cottage or they can meet you at the picturesque Peter Lehmann Wines winery nestled in amongst the vineyards on the edge of Tanunda, one and a half hours before sunrise. From there our team checks the prevailing wind conditions and chooses the best launch site for the day, we have about 17 different sites throughout the scenic country side to choose from. Once at the launch site they then inflate the giant colourful balloon. Inflation takes about half an hour. Then it's up, up and away for an experience of a lifetime.
Imagine, floating above the Barossa, drifting with the breeze and not a care in the world. Ballooning is probably the most romantic form of transportation, from the traditional wicker basket to the champagne breakfast.
They fly with the wind for approximately an hour which gives you plenty of time to take photos and just enjoy the sense of freedom drifting with the breeze. Then when we land, our support vehicle arrives, we pack the balloon away, then head off to pop some corks and enjoy some of the local bubbly and fine Barossa food. After breakfast everyone is then officially certified a "Balloonatic" with your own flight certificate. So in total you're with us for approximately 5 hours.
COST PER PERSON:
Adults.............................. AU$300
Children (6 - 16 years).... AU$195
They fly 7 days a week, all year round, weather permitting.
